THE BENDER VISUAL MOTOR TEST. CLINICAL POTENTIAL. CLINICAL VALIDITY.
The Bender-Gestalt test was devised by Lauretta Bender, a student at Stanford University. and her supervisor, Bernard Rimland, another student at Stanford. in 1955. It has become the most commonly used psychological test battery in autism. The BVMT has become the test of choice in clinical and research settings, and is currently the most widely used psychological test.
